Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Seitz (Mark and Mrs. Dawson) with the passing of Mark’s brother, Jeff. We also extend our deepest sympathies to the Baysinger family with the passing of Bulgie.

Tutoring after school (3:15-5:15)

Good luck to the Lady Blackhawks as they travel to JVC today. JH girls tip off at 5:15 followed by the JV and Varsity. The bus will leave SC at 4:05.


Boys practice Woonsocket today at SC today.


6th boys will practice at SC at 6:30 today.


As of now, Mr. Flatten and the senior class plan on going to Pierre tomorrow to observe the legislature in session. Mother Nature, please remain calm!!!!!

The junior high girls basketball game on Tuesday, Feb. 12 with Mt. Vernon/Plankinton has been moved to a 5:00 start. There will be a 7th grade game at 5:00, followed by an 8th grade game. The game with Iroquois has been postponed as they had to move a high school game to that night.

Friday, February 15th is extra help day. As usual students will be notified Wednesday (2/13) afternoon of missing assignments. Parents of students with a failing grade or missing assignments will be notified Thursday (2/14) afternoon that their student will need to be here from 8:00-11:00. Students – be checking your portal – need help ask. Teachers please keep your grade books up to date.


The MS Coronation/Dance will be held Friday, February 15th from 6:30-9:00. Coronation will begin promptly at 6:30. The MS student council is sponsoring a Sanborn County Food pantry drive in conjunction with the dance. You may donate non-perishable food items this week.

Today's lunch menu has been changed to mini corndogs with a side of french fries and peas and Wednesday's meal will be chicken & WW noodles, steamed broccoli, blueberry oat muffin, and mandarin oranges.

7-12 baseball player sign -up sheet is in the office. It may not feel like it but spring ball isn’t far off – sign up today!!!

February 14th-The JH Boys will play Mitchell Christian - The game will begin at 3:15.

The boys will play first to help Ethan out like last year-

FFA CDE season is soon here, so that means practice time! Everyone who is participating in a CDE this spring is required to attend practices. If none of the times listed are an option for you, get in contact with Miss. Ronning to schedule another time. Members please let Miss. Ronning know which session(s) you will be attending.
