Both the JH and JV teams won yesterday with a score of 28-6 vs. MVP. The next JH game will be September 5th in Chamberlain at 4:30 and 6:00 for the JV boys also in Chamberlain.

The Homecoming Parade theme for this year is Cartoons.

Cheer on the VB ladies this evening. The order of play will go as follows 8,7,C,JH,V. Hanson will be hosting tonight's game and the first match will start at 4:00 with both the 7th and 8th grades warming up together prior to the first match.
The bus will leave SC at 2:40

Shout out to the football team in a big WIN over Scotland Menno Trappers with a score of 59-13! They will be on the road September 8th vs. McCook Central-Montrose at 7PM

We will start eligibility on Thursday, September 7th.

Today the JH team FB travels to Mt. Vernon for 4:30 pm game and the JV team travels to Salem for 4:30 pm game. Four quarters of 9:00 with regulation clock Wessington Springs will provide bussing for both places.
JV Bus will leave Springs at 2:15 pm and stop at Woonsocket and Sanborn Central to pick up players. JH bus will leave at 3:00 pm and stop in Woonsocket to pick up players. Sanborn Central JH players will need to meet bus in Woonsocket.

The Volleyball girls are on a R-O-L-L! Last night ended with a win to Freeman Academy (2-0) and Wessington Springs (2-1). Keep up the good work ladies. The next game will be at Ethan with a 4:00 start time (7,8,C,JV,V). The bus will leave Woonsocket at 2:30 and SC at 2:45.

Congratulations to our elected Student Council Officers for 2023 Carter Hitchcock Treasurer Bryce Larson-President Cody Slykhuis-Vice President Aubrey Senska- Secretary! Each of these students won their election against other candidates for the respective office they were elected to. They all gave speeches today as to why they should be elected and the week was full of campaign signs and slogans!!

This year Student Council will be more formal while meeting more often. Mr. Steele and Mrs. Wilson are eager to work with this group of officers. Each class will choose their class representatives next week!

The boys will be at Wessington Springs today to battle Scotland/Menno at 7PM. This game was originally scheduled to be at SC.

With the excessive temps occurring the next three days, JH & HS football will be practicing in the mornings from 6:00-7:30 AM at the Woonsocket old game field by the cemetery. Coach McCain will be ready to leave the school at 5:30 AM. If you are riding with him, please be ready to leave at 5:30.

JH bus will leave at 3:00 pm and stop in Woonsocket to pick up players. Sanborn Central JH players will need to meet bus in Woonsocket.

JH Game is at 4:00 pm
