This week we celebrate Mrs. Gassman for her compassion, guidance, and encouragement provided every single day. From listening ears and calming words to helping students navigate academics, emotions, and future goals, Mrs. Gassman is a constant source of support and care.

The ladies fell to the Ethan Rustlers with a score of 34-52 and the boys won 58-39.

The Sanborn Central Rocket League Team qualified for State E-Sports on February 13-14th in Aberdeen. Team members are Clay Moody, Ian Octavo, & Owen Moran.

Today we are wearing red to support heart health, raise awareness, and remind one another to take care of the hearts that keep us going.

Tomorrow SC will host a double header basketball game starting with girls JV at 4PM followed by boys JV at 5, girls V at 6:15, and boys V at 7:45. 

The Sanborn Central Scholarship Foundation is having a pie auction during halftime of the boys varsity game tomorrow. If you are willing to donate a pie, please contact Steff Edwards at 605-770-0105

Events for the day
Landree Zoss received 1^st place at the Baltic meet on January 17th. She broke 4 records for the Baltic meet at the 97lb class.
Record Squat of 110lbs
Record Deadlift of 155lbs
Record total of 330 lbs lifted (Bench Press, Squat, & Deadlift)
Co-efficieny of 3.43 (this is the amount of weight lifted divided by the lifters weight)

Please have your Reed Harter donations brought to the Sanborn Central or Woonsocket School offices by noon on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The donations will be totaled up from both schools with the SCW FFA feed and presented at the Ethan game that night.  Thanks for everyone's support.

 Events for the day

Today's games will be at Woonsocket vs. Wessington Springs.  The pep band will play.

SCW FFA Feast of Thanks
A free-will donation meal of pulled pork sandwiches, potato chips, beans, and water will be served from 5-7:00pm during the girls basketball game vs Wessington Springs on Thursday, January 29th in Woonsocket. All proceeds will benefit the family of Reed Harter.
