SCW Community and Families,
During the March School Board Meetings at both Sanborn Central and Woonsocket, there will be a motion for the dissolution of our FFA co-op. This is a friendly dissolution that will benefit both schools’ FFA participants. Due to the increased number of participants at both schools and two certified Ag/FFA Advisors available, the decision to split up the co-op would provide students from each school the ability to participate in events that are better suited for them and allow both chapters to meet more frequently. Our chapters will still take transportation together to events and work together to build both chapters positively. The SCW FFA fund will be split equally between both chapters.
The SCW FFA co-op is the only cooperative in the state, and both schools are in agreement that the dissolution is best for our students moving forward.
