Happy Valentine’s Day One and All!!!!!!!
Saturday Noah Wormstadt will
celebrate his birthday!
Tomorrow is extra help day. The only students who will be at school are
those with missing assignments or failing grades. Hopefully you aren’t on that list! There is no school Monday due to President’s
Day!!!
Congratulations
to our MS Princess and Prince candidates:
Ellie Evans, Kenlie Fridley, Brooklyn Johnson, Michael Hoffman, Toby
Kneen, and Brady Larson. The MS
Coronation/Dance will be held Friday, February 15th from
6:30-9:00. Coronation will begin
promptly at 6:30. The MS student council is sponsoring a Sanborn County Food
pantry drive in conjunction with the dance.
You may donate non-perishable food items this week.
If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate Mrs.
Vermeulen may postpone the dance.
Tutoring
will be held today from 3:15-5:15. Take advantage of this service!!!
Parents
will be notified this afternoon if you need to be here Friday, February 15th
from 8:00am until 11:00am - Don’t be on that list please!!!! Everything needs to be turned in prior to
noon today. Teacher, please let the
office know when your gradebook is up to date.
Good
luck to the basketball teams as they travel to Mitchell Christian today. Mr. Lieber will drive a Mini Bus and will
leave at 2:05PM from Woony and 2:15PM from SC with the JH Boys –
Brady L, Michael H, Toby K, Trey M, Cooper G, Cody S, and Keaton F. Leaving at 2:55 on the big bus are Bryce L,
Peyton U, Austin S, Sawyer S, Tater M, Noah D, Cayden S, Tryce S, Mason M, Teya
M, Abby V, Katie S, Madi M, Samantha D, Dayton E, Cassidy S, and Hannah D. Go get ‘em Blackhawks!!!!
Mitchell
Christian is hosting a drive for the Mitchell Safe House during the ball game
Thursday. Bring canned good items or
cash donations for the Mitchell Area Safehouse as your admission into the
basketball games! Items requested by the
Safehouse: Canned vegetables and fruit, Hamburger Helper, macaroni and cheese,
applesauce, peanut butter
SENIORS!!!!!! Mrs. Dawson needs
senior pictures for the senior spotlight ASAP, at the latest by next Friday,
March 1st.
CDE practice Friday,
February 15th from 8:30 until 11:00.
Drumline will practice
at 10:00 am at SC on Friday, February 15th.
5th boys
will practice at Woonsocket Friday at 6:00pm
HS Boys will practice
at 2:30 Friday at SC. HS GBB will
practice at SC.

The girls
will be hosting a region game next Tuesday, February 19th at Sanborn
Central at 7:00 with an undetermined opponent.

State applications for those interested. Deadline is February 28th.

Students planning on attending the Miller CDE on March 20th -
Miss. Ronning needs a commitment from you by Tuesday, February 26th at 3:00 pm.
If you are unable to attend or are ineligible that week, you will need to repay
the chapter registration fees for the contest. Sign up in Miss. Ronning's
classroom or by e-mailing her/messaging on Remind.
