Mr. Flatten's Economic class will be
going to Coborn's on Friday for an Economic Scavenger Hunt. The mini-bus leaves at 7:45 am

At the FB game tomorrow evening it’s senior
night……. We
will be announcing Seniors and their parents at 6:50 pm.
A representative from MTI will be at Sanborn
Central at 11:30 on Monday, October 8th.
Monday, October 15th at 7:45
staff and students will be treated to the Annual Flu Shot Clinic. The
volleyball teams have games that night and the Sanborn County Nurse will return
on October 18th to give anyone a shot that didn’t receive it
previously. Forms will be sent home with Pre-K thru 5th grade
and placed on lockers for 6th thru 12th.

BAND
The
Blackhawks Marching Band will be traveling and attending the Lake Area Marching
Festival in Chester, SD on Friday, October 5th. This festival is a great
opportunity to watch other bands and receive feedback on our marching and
playing! What to Bring:

All-State Chorus & Orchestra tickets will be sold through the
Rushmore Plaza Civic Center and will go on sale at 1:00 pm (CT) on October

Cancer Awareness Nights
October 11th
when we travel to White Lake for Volleyball they will be hosting a Think Pink
Night. Complete with a silent basket auction, specials at concession

many of you know Mrs. Reimer, our 2nd grade teacher, has been
diagnosed with colon cancer. She is a wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, friend,
one of our own, and so much more - she is so very special to many of us. We have
