Blue Day
Congratulations to Katie Schmit for her winning Voice of Democracy Speech.  She received first place at VFW Post 270 and was a runner-up at the district level.  Rebel Proud Katie!!!!

It was a great Win last night for the Blackhawks Boys Basketball program.  We have the best kids to coach and I'm proud of our entire team's hard work and sacrifices this season. After practice, Pizza will be on me during film.  Coach Weber

There will be a pep rally on THURSDAY in Woonsocket at 2:30PM for the Boys Basketball Team (SC’s 9-12 students will be attending).  We will play Chester at 8PM Friday at the Corn Palace. Winner advances to the Sweet 16.

BBB will practice in Woonsocket today and tomorrow.

ACADEMICS
Tuesday – March 6th is the senior project work day.  Seniors will need to be here all day (8:15-3:15 but free for lunch) but will not be attending their regular classes.  You will need to be in the HS Lab, Senior Lounge, or with Mrs. Moody.

Seniors will be attending a CPR Class on Thursday, March 8th from 12:30-2:30.  CPR is now a requirement to graduate high school in South Dakota under legislation signed into law.  The law goes into effect with the 2017-2018 school year.  SC seniors will receive training on March 8 from 12:30-2:30. 

ATHLETICS
A rough draft of the spring baseball schedule has been uploaded to our Google Drive.

4th grade basketball Thursday versus Mount Vernon at Mount Vernon high school 6.  Saturday 4th grade tournament in Mitchell at LB Williams.

FFA
Friday, March 2nd Redfield CDE’s Bus from SC @ 7:30 and Woony @ 7:45 a.m.  Notes: Members are required to bring a clipboard, pencil, calculator for select events, money for lunch.  Students signed up for Redfield CDEs: Katie S, Samantha D, Sarah M, Catherine B, Teagan S, Harley K, Amber S, Madi M, Royce H, Sawyer S, Austin S, Aiden W, Tater M, Alex W, Cayden S, Trent K, Cole M, Eric R, Noah D.  Please let Mr. Gross know ASAP if there is an error/change to this list.
