Good Luck to
the Lady Blackhawks in Region Play at the Huron Arena tonight. 5pm
the Lady Blackhawks take on the Elkton Lake Benton ladies. The theme is Red,
White, and Blue!!!! See you there! The bus will leave SC at 2:45 today for
Huron.
Rumor has it
that KMIT will be broadcasting the games today. http://kmit.com/
Boys are
practicing early today in Woonsocket allowing them to go cheer the ladies on!
Winterguard
will practice at SC today.
It
has begun!!! FFA
Week and the members are hosting a Penny War for grades PK-8. Proceeds will go toward field trips. In case you don’t remember – each grade will
have a bag in the office for you to deposit your change in. Pennies are good points and silver coins are
bad points (No bills accepted). If a bag
has 36 pennies and a quarter in it, they would have 11 points. Tallies will be done daily. The winning class will enjoy a cookout with
the FFA members!
Yummy in your tummy - FFA members
will be selling donuts on tomorrow, February 21st for $.50. Thursday is the informal Green hand ceremony
and Friday is Blue & Gold Day!
⧪Spring is just around the corner
which means thoughts are turning to the spring screenings for pre-school age
children in our district. We offer pre-school (all day every day) for 4
year olds. We want to make sure that we don't miss any upcoming students.
If you have a child 4 and under please contact Mary at 495-4183 or mary.ackman@k12.sd.us
Spread the word to your family and neighbors please! May 3rd is the date for the
pre-school screening for the 2018-2019 year.
Redfield CDE is on March 2nd. The sign up form is on
the board in the Ag room. This a reminder: sign up/drop deadline is Feb.
20th at noon. After that point, you will be responsible for repaying the
cost of your registration to the FFA Chapter if you do not go. If you
will not see Mr. Gross that day and need to make a change, email him at shane.gross@k12.sd.us.
