The SCW Pep Band will be playing before and during
halftime of Friday night’s game at the Huron Arena. A bus for band members will
leave Woonsocket at 5:15 p.m. and Sanborn Central at 5:30 p.m. Band members are
not required to ride the bus, but will need to have parent permission to drive
up themselves (the required form needs to be filled out ahead of time). If band
members do not ride the bus, they will need to follow the bus or meet the bus
at the band entrance if they want to get in free as the only way for free
admission is through the entrance for band students. All band members should be
prepared to help unload the bus at 6:10 p.m. Members need to be seated and
ready to play by 6:30 p.m. and 2 minutes before halftime. Members that ride the
bus to Huron but do not want to ride the bus home must also have parent
permission via the required form. If a band member is at the game and is not
playing basketball or cheerleading, they are expected to play in Pep Band or
they will be dropped a letter grade in Band.
Mystery Senior spotlights begin today. Students place
their guesses in a jar in the school office. Names that are pulled out with
correct guesses each win a skip assignment pass.
Today’s Mystery Senior plans on attending USF or USD for
Business Administration and Management.
This senior enjoys watching Disney Movies while eating Culvers vanilla
ice cream with strawberries – the MORE the better! Keeping busy during her time at SCHS with
volleyball, basketball, track, chorus, band, National Honor Society, Spirit
Club, yearbook, quiz bowl, one-act play, and color guard has provided her with
many memories. The most memorable time
was winning conference titles and going to state in basketball. Outside of school she participated in 4-H,
LYO, Softball, Girls State, and AAV Basketball. Who is today’s Mystery Senior?
Find out in tomorrow’s e-News.
