These students qualified for acceptance based on their GPAs and were selected by a team of faculty members based on their scholarship, service, leadership and character. Post Prom fundraising-8th through 11th grade (as of next year) are asked to sell Dakota Tom's Sandwiched to help raise money for the 2025 post prom party! Raising money now will allow the post prom parent planners to shop for the best prices on a wide variety of prizes! Please sell as many sandwiches as you can. They are due to Ashly Uecker next Monday, April 29at school by noon. These sandwiches all freeze well and would make a great meal or snack for basketball games, field work, calving or just a quick meal.
Be sure to put names on your sheets.
We will have the sandwiches sorted into each seller's orders on May 6th and get them to students to deliver on May 7th. Collect money at the time of sale. Checks can be made to teh SC Post Prom. The sandwiches are $4.00 each. If you have any questions let Roxann or Ashly know.

Avera Academy:
The third Annual Avera Academy is taking place at Avera Queen of Peace in Mitchell. This will be offered June 4-6, 2024 for current 8th grade-Juniors. The youth will learn about various healthcare careers by exploring various departments at the hospital with hands-on-activities. The youth will also go to Dakota Wesleyan and Mitchell Technical College and Avera Brady Long Term Care. If a student is interested, they can come to myself, Ms. Amundson, for the application. The application must be returned to me by April 26th. They will be limiting this experience to 8 youth in the surrounding area.
