Last chance registrations for soccer can still be turned in. The numbers are about half of what they have been in the past. If there aren’t enough players to field teams, soccer will not be offered at Sanborn Central this year.

Woonsocket is having a U14 and also a U16/19 soccer team. Any Sanborn Central students 13 and up that would like to play on their team, please contact Shelley Schlicht at shelley.schlicht@k12.sd.us.

Here’s a link to the 2013 Track Schedule:

A spring Hunt Safe Course will be held on Tuesday, April 16 (6:00 – 9:00 p.m.), Thursday, April 18 (6:00 – 9:00 p.m.) and Saturday, April 20 (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon). This is a 10 hour course that has to be completed in order to receive a card. Shotguns will be furnished if needed. No firearms or ammunition will be brought to the class by any student. They will be instructed as to when they may bring a firearm for inspection and usage. The second is a toll-free number you can call to hear the most recent message sent out, or all the messages in the last 30 days. Both of these will only work for those on the current SchoolReach contact list. Go to the SchoolReach page at www.sanborncentral.com for instructions on both of these new items.
