Today's announcements
The boys fought hard against a solid Winner team on Friday. If we punch it in the first half, we change the entire game. We eliminated turnovers and showed that we can compete with anyone. The score may not have ended in our favor, but we see our potential and are motivated to reach it.
Monday:FB JH & JV game vs Winner in Wessington Springs JH begins at 4:30 & JV will play at 6:00. We will be wearing Black Jerseys. SC & Woony will leave immediately after school.
Varsity will watch film & lift. SC & Woony have a financial aid (FAFSA) presentation in Woonsocket at 5:30. We will make sure we are done so seniors can get back for that.
Extra help day is Friday, October 8th. Parents of students with missing assignments or failing grades will be notified the afternoon of Thursday, October 8th that the student will need to be in attendance from 8:00-11:00am on Friday. Elementary parents, please contact your students teacher if you have questions regarding your child needing to attend. Students will be given a list of missing assignments the afternoon of Wednesday, October 6th. The list will be updated on Thursday afternoon prior to calls being made.
The bus will leave Woonsocket at 12 today for a 2:00 CC meet October in Howard.

The financial aid (FAFSA) night will be held in Woonsocket this evening at 5:30 pm. All seniors and parents/guardians are invited to come and learn the step-by-step process to filling out the FAFSA form. All seniors who are planning on going to college should fill out the FAFSA. Morgan Huber from MTC will be there to answer any questions and to lead the presentation. If you are not able to attend the FAFSA night, please reach out to Miss Amundson for any questions regarding the FAFSA.

We are adjusting the schedule due to a Saturday game. Tuesday will be only about 45 minutes after school. The boys could use a day off before the playoff schedule kicks in.
Schedule for the week:
Tuesday: No JH or HS practice. All HS players will lift and run after school at their home school.
Wednesday: JH & HS practice @ Woony 4:00-6:00. Full pads for both.
Thursday: JH & HS practice @ Woony 4:00-6:00. Full pads for both.
Friday: JH & HS Practice @ Woony 4:00-5:45 JH will be full pads & HS in helmet & shoulder pads.
Athletes should ride the bus to Rapid City. I understand that quite a few families are staying for the weekend in the Hills and want their sons to stay on Saturday, that is fine, just make sure to communicate with the coaches so we have an accurate count on the way back. It sounds like RCC is feeding us after the game but having your child bring some spending money isn't a bad idea.
Tutoring will be held on October 5th at 3:15-5:15 the cost will be $3 per hour. If interested please call SC school (495-4183) before noon on the days your child will attend. Please mark you calendars for Tuesday's and Thursday's if you are interested in these services.

Depart SC 7:00 am & Woon. 7:10 am. Return approximately 4:00 pm.
Bring music folders, water bottles, and money for lunch. Lunch at Armour will be on site for $5.00. Please give $5.00 to Mrs. Easton asap.
Monday Oct. 11th: JH & JV finish the season in Mt. Vernon vs MVP. Both games take place at 4:30 pm. They will utilize both fields for the games.
