Back to school paperwork is due back to the office today.  Meals will be served to all children at no charge-Monday through Friday at the normal meal times.  Free/reduced household application may be used to qualify for P-EPT benefits.  Please be reminded that the Sanborn Central School District has been approved for free breakfast and lunch for all enrolled students for this school year.  Therefore, your determination in regards to free, reduced or paid does not have an effect upon your account.  If you choose to apply but have already sent your back to school forms to the office please select the Free & Reduced School Lunch application

A note from Mr. Flatten
Pictures will take place on Wednesday after school. Coaches will hand out photo packets prior to Monday's practice to all 7-12 players. JH jerseys will be handed out prior to Wednesday's practice. Players should wear black game jerseys and pants.

Kicking off the volleyball season is the Early Bird Volleyball Tournament August 24th and 26th in Alexandria with the bus leaving SC at 3:40 4:30.  The Lady Blackhawks will battle Platte-Geddes at 5:15 on Court A  6:45 on Court B (Please note this is a schedule change).

*I am told only the Hanson games will be livestreamed.

If it has JH it is a combined middle school.

If it has 7 and 8 they are separate games.  Some teams we play may have some 8th graders playing on the 7th grade team.

Support a long time bus driver from Sanborn Central with the purchase of a Gary's Support Squad shirt.  Gary was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer in June of this year. He had surgery on July 6 to remove the thyroid and over 120 lymph nodes on both sides of his neck. He developed complications and the Thoracic duct was leaking Chyle lymphatic fluid into his neck and chest. He had 3 surgeries to repair this with the last and successful surgery being done at Mayo in Rochester. He will have to take the Iodine Radiation pills early September and will isolate for up to 14 days. After that he will have X-Beam radiation Monday - Friday, 40 minutes a day for 6 Weeks in Sioux Falls. He is currently going to physical therapy in Mitchell.

Wednesday, September 1st at the Sanborn Co. Courthouse will be the next food pantry giveaway.  It will be drive through only and one box per family will be distributed.  Food Pantry Giveaway
