Our rodeo people
had an awesome weekend! Saturday in
Kennebec they took top honors in 5 out of 10 age divisions: Aubrey Kropp – Reserve Champion, Trey Moody –
Reserve Champion, Tater Moody – Reserve Champion, and Madi Moody All
Around. On Sunday in Chamberlain Cort
Stevens was named All Around in his age group, Aubrey Kropp Reserve, Trey Moody
All Around, and Tryce Slykhuis Reserve!
Good luck to the JH & JV Football players as they
travel to the Mt. Vernon Jamboree this afternoon. Games times are 4:00, 4:40, and 6:00. JH and JV football
players will need to be excused around 2, or a little after, so we can get
loaded on the bus to Woony by 2:15. Players will be Shane N., Josh F.,
Cody R., Logan F., Garrett D., Trent K. Eric

7-12 Volleyball practice is at Woonsocket today.
A pair of glasses in a case was found in the gym after the games on

A hoodie was found on the bus
after the FFA Land and Range School at Woonsocket. If you are missing a
hoodie send Mr. Gross a description of it and he will get it to you.

in Woonsocket today.
Tuesday, September 9th – JH and HS practice in Woonsocket. This is team picture day for JH and HS. Players need to bring black game jerseys and game pants along with picture order form.
Wednesday, September 10th – HS only practice at Woonsocket. No JH practice on Wednesdays.
Thursday, September 11th – JH and HS practice at Woonsocket
Friday, September 12th – JH and HS practice at Woonsocket (This is a tentative practice. May take this day off. Decision to be made on Thursday)

The Hunt Safe Course begins tonight at the 4-H Building. They meet tonight from 6-9, tomorrow night
from 6-9, and Saturday from 8:00 to noon.
There will be a public informational meeting September 10th
at the Letcher Community Center at 7:00 pm regarding the proposed opening of
Ditch 34 and how it will affect drainage in the Letcher area. Please plan
on attending.

Thursday, September 11th, Dave Williams will be in the
Sanborn Central music room from 5pm to 6:30pm selling/ renting instruments.
Please mark this down on your calendar if your student is going to be in band.

Blackhawk Athletics will be hosting “Be
Bold, Wear Gold” nights during the month of September for Childhood Cancer
Awareness Month! Come cheer on the
Blackhawks and wear GOLD at the
Volleyball Game September 11th and the Football Game September 26th to promote awareness! Gold paper “chain links” will be sold and
connected at both games. All proceeds will go towards the fight against childhood
