ranked Blackhawks take on Platte/Geddes in Springs tonight. It’s homecoming for Wessington Springs and
the festivities include a tail gate party starting at 5:30 serving a Pork Sandwich – Chips – Cookies – Pop for
$5.00. KOOL 98.3 will be broadcasting
the game.
Blackhawk
Athletics will be hosting “Be Bold, Wear Gold” nights during the month of
September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! Come cheer on the
Blackhawks and wear GOLD at the Football Game September 26th to
promote awareness! Gold paper “chain links” will be sold and connected at
both games. All proceeds will go towards the fight against childhood

band is marching in the Menno Parade today.

Volleyball practice will be in Woonsocket today.
It’s
off to the races for Bailey Moody this weekend, who has been invited to
participate in the Ak-Sar-Ben High School Scholarship Rodeo Saturday in Omaha
in the Pole Bending event. High School Rodeo Champions from the Nebraska,
Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, and South Dakota will compete for a $1,000
scholarship per event at this 2nd annual event!

Central. On the days that practice is in
Woonsocket, SC students can be bussed there and will be back to SC between 5:20

on the $500 MTI Scholarship that the Mitchell Area Manufacturers group is
giving away again this year to any Junior or Senior is available in the
office. The scholarship application is
very simple to fill out.
