On Friday, October 2nd the Blackhawks travel to Canton for a 7:00 pm game. Canton is limiting the number of spectators. Each player and coach will be provided 6 tickets they can distribute to family. If attending the game this ticket must be presented at ticket gate to be able to get in. There will also be a $2 admission for each person. The Canton school also recommends the wearing of masks and social distancing at the game.

Woonsocket will host a 281 Tourney VB game on Saturday with the JV starting at 1PM and the varsity to follow. Since this is a 281 Tourney game, Season Passes WILL NOT be accepted.

Cooper Hainy is hosting a baseball camp, October 4th for 12U (11-12 yrs) at 1-3pm, 14u (13-14 yrs) at 4-6pm 12u will be at the softball field, 14u will be at David Jost Amatuer Field.  These forms are due today!

Rock Solid will meet at the Letcher Community Church tonight at 615pm. Rock solid is open to anyone in grades 8-12. Please bring a friend! See you there!!

Congrats to the last weeks winners of Tropical Thursday-Beau E, Maggie M, Aubrey M, Mason M, Payton U, Michael H, and staff Mr. Flatten, and Mrs. Moore.  Despite no FB game Homecoming Week was a success!  Thank You to the Booster Club for provided dress up day prizes and Friday's meal.  We appreciate You!

JH game Monday in Miller is still set for a 4:00 kickoff, the bus will leave SC at 2:00. Players leaving early are Clay M, Grant E, and Teagen M. M/H-H only has enough players for one game, and it is this group's turn to play. JH players not going to Miller will not have practice today. HS will now practice at Woonsocket after school Monday. That is a change from the original schedule.

Varsity travels to Canton Friday to play the C-Hawks. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm. Canton students are required to wear a mask, and it is highly recommended that fans wear one while practicing social distancing. Canton also has an attendance policy. Each athlete & coach will receive 6 tickets per person. Players will distribute them out once received. Fans will not be admitted into the game without one of these tickets. We will hand tickets to players this week. Please follow Canton's district policy and have a mask & tickets handy.

Twin Tuesday has officially kicked off-Enjoy the day and get geared up for Western Wednesday!

Congratulations to King Harley Kneen and Queen Cassidy Slykhuis in taking home the honors during last night Coronation!

Good Luck to the VB ladies as they battle Wolsey/Wessington in Wolsey starting with the 7th/C team at 4:45 followed by 8th, JV and V.  The bus will leave SC at 3:15.  The game will be broadcast of the Warbird Volleyball youtube channel.

Friday, September 25th will be the Homecoming Parade in Woonsocket at 1:00. All Pre-K/8th Grade will be bused to Woonsocket for the parade, and ride their class float.
*Due to COVID, if you choose to keep your child home on September 25th and not participate in the parade let the school know. All students that do not plan on attending need parental permission to have an excused absence for the day.
Parents will have the option after the parade to take their student with them, however the teacher/school will need to be informed by September 23rd.

A Lake Area Tech admissions rep will be available over Zoom on Monday, October 12 at 1:00 pm. Mrs. Foxley will set it up.

This program allows all elementary school children to receive a FFVP snack at least 2 days per week free of charge. We will kick off this program the September 16th, delivering to the classroom everyday through September 30 at 12:30. Starting in October, we will be delivering 2-3 times a week, depending on funds available.
