The high school teacher have a Blackhawk Service Day planned for Friday, May 5th for all 8th-12th graders. The students will be completing small improvement/cleaning projects around the school grounds to beautify our school! Thank You to the HS teachers and students for making this a priority!

NHS will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday, May 4th from 9:00-12:15 in the 4H building in the SC gym. If you are interesting in donating please contact Megan.Wilson@k12.sd.us.
Prom will start with couples pictures at 4:00 and end at supper time (6:00.) Please check with your child to see what time slot they signed up for.

After prom 11:45 (change clothes), load bus
at 12am, return to school at 3am
Post Prom 2023 Information for both parents and students.
The dance will conclude around 11:45. Students will not be allowed to go to their cars following prom. They will need to have their bags/change of clothes brought into the locker room prior to Grand March. If students leave prom, they will not be allowed to attend the post prom party. Students will load the charter bus around 12:00. We will go to Village Bowl in Mitchell for our entertainment. We have some fun bowling activities for everyone to get involved in!

12:30—Food Provided – Pizza, Wings, Cookies
12:45-2:15ish – Bowling/Arcade games and give-aways
2:20 – Drawing for class prizes

The spring concert will take place on Thursday, April 27th. Please have elementary students meet in their classrooms at 6:45. MS and HS students who are not in band need to be in their seats by 6:45. Band students should meet in the music room at 6:30.

Correction to the announcements-Monday, April 24th the JH will be attending the Eager Beaver Track Meet
in Alexandria with a 1:00 start. The Varsity will not be attending the May 15th meet in Alexandria.
