Today is “Thanksgiving Thursday” for Character Counts Week! Who are you thankful to know of have in your life? There is still time to bring your non-perishable food items for our donation box. Friday is “Food Drive Friday” and it’s a great time of your to share your extra food with the Sanborn County Food Bank.

The 5th & 6th grade girls and boys will practice in Woonsocket on Friday, October 25th. FFA will be setting up for their haunted house in the Sanborn Gym on Friday.
The FFA Halloween Carnival is this Saturday October 26th join in on the fun and festivities!
Each carnival game, craft and the haunted house require at least one ticket. Ticket prices are as follows: 20 tickets for $10 and 10 tickets for $5. Don't forget to bring your complimentary ticket paper in the day of the carnival for some free tickets! Can't wait to see you at the Sanborn Central Gym this Saturday, from 4-6 pm.
If interested in this group, the Systems of Care Coordinator with Dakota Counseling will be in Woonsocket on Wednesday, October 23rd from 11:30am-1pm in order to help parents and guardians fill out paperwork. A sign-up sheet will also be available in Mrs. Foxley’s office. If additional accommodations need to be made or you are interested in the group but cannot make this time work please contact Heather Folkers at h.folkers@dakotacounseling.net

Tuesday October 29th Juniors and Seniors will be in Woonsocket from 8-12 for a SD Farmers Union Presentation.
On November 6, Oral Interp. students will have district at Mitchell. The following students will be gone for the day for that: Isabella Bitterman, Leighton Tarbox, Noah Wormstadt, Mason Moody, Teya Moody, Brighton Hitchcock, Hannah Dickson, Tryce Slykhuis, Dana Schelske, Shania Cornelius, Sidney Salas, and Alexis Kelly.

The Iroquois 5/6th girls and boys basketball games originally scheduled on 10/28/19 will now be played on Tuesday, 11/12/19 in Woonsocket with Girls game at 6PM and Boys at 7PM.

The Artesian American Legion Auxiliary invites you and your family to celebrate Veterans Day dinner. On Sunday November 10, 2019 at12:00 noon at the Artesian Community Center. The Artesian CIA will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 27 from 3:00-4:00pm in the Artesian Community Center parking lot. All are welcome to come enjoy some fun and safe trunk or treating. If you are interested in decorating a trunk, come early to get set up and join in on the fun!

Woonsocket Trunk or Treat will take place Thursday, October 31st at the Woonsocket school parking lot/commons from 5-7. A meal will be served in the commons from 4:40-6:30PM and will be a tree will offering to go toward youth education at Spirit of Faith and St. Wilfrid’s Catholic Churches. Trunks are voluntary-Contact Bobby White 999-4529 or Sarah Jensen 350-4310 if you are interested in having a “trunk” for the event.
