Blue Day – No Tutoring Today!!!

Congratulations to Kaylee White and Tater Moody for winning their division in the KC Hoop shoot.  They are waiting for all district results to see if they move on!

Congratulations to Myah Selland on her 500th career assist.  Another amazing accomplishment in her basketball career.

Good Luck to the JH Basketball teams as they travel to Mt. Vernon for games today.  Please dismiss players at 2:40 and the bus will leave SC at 2:45.  Bring home some victories guys and gals!

Winterguard will practice at SC today from 3:45pm-6pm. Bring paper and a writing utensil. We will be discussing the judges’ comments and see what direction we will be taking the show next.

Breaking News – the MS Dance will be held on March 24^th!!!!

We are seeing more and more cases of influenza, pneumonia, respiratory infections, strep etc.  Please do not hesitate to stay home if you are not feeling well and see a doctor! 

Influenza (also known as the flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by flu viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The flu is different from a cold. The flu usually comes on suddenly. People who have the flu often feel some or all of these symptoms: 

Fever* or feeling feverish/chills

Cough

Sore throat

Runny or stuffy nose

Muscle or body aches

Headaches

Fatigue (tiredness)

Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults.

* It's important to note that not everyone with flu will have a fever.

GET YOUR MISSING ASSIGNMENTS TURNED IN!!!! Friday - February 17th is our extra help day. Please have all missing assignments in campus and labeled missing by noon on Wednesday, February 15th. This list will be distributed to students. Please update this as assignments are turned in as we will print a new list about 1:00pm on Thursday, February 16th and begin calling parents at that time. Any student with an F or missing assignments will be required to be here from 8-11:00 on Friday, February 17th.

The JHBB team will play Ethan at 9:00 and the JHG will play Ethan at 11:00 Saturday, February 18th. The JH Round Robin will be played at SC.

FFA

FFA membership dues are $20 for this year. The motion was passed by a majority vote of members. Please bring your payment in to Mr. Gross. Dues and any other money owed to the FFA must be turned before being able to attend Spring CDEs. The first event is on March 3rd.
