We are seeing more and more cases of influenza, pneumonia,
respiratory infections, strep etc. Please do not hesitate to stay home if
you are not feeling well and see a doctor!
Influenza (also known as the flu) is a contagious
respiratory illness caused by flu viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness,
and at times can lead to death. The flu is different from a cold. The flu
usually comes on suddenly. People who have the flu often feel some or all of
these symptoms:
Fever*
or feeling feverish/chills
Cough
Sore
throat
Runny
or stuffy nose
Muscle
or body aches
Headaches
Fatigue
(tiredness)
Some
people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children
than adults.
*
It's important to note that not everyone with flu will have a fever.

Chester shot 29/61 FG for 57% and 9/18 on 3’s for
50%. Coach Olson’s comments: We
played a pretty solid game against H-H especially in the second half for a good
conference win. Against Chester, I thought we were nervous and Chester
jumped out on us early. It was one of those nights when the game felt too
fast for us and we couldn’t get it slowed to collect ourselves because Chester
kept making shots. We were disappointed in the outcome but know there are
bigger games ahead for us. The boys’ record now stands at 12-6.
