road conditions, Sanborn Central will be closed Wednesday, January 25.
Calendar change!!!!! On Friday, February 10th, Staff will meet in Mt.
Vernon at 1:00 for our second SIVN sharing session. We will dismiss school at 12:30,
after lunch has been served.

ATHLETICS
Midco Sports will be airing a story about Myah Selland tonight on the Midco Sports Channel during their Varsity Sports Show. The show starts at 6:30pm and the story will air sometime during the show. Not everyone gets the Midco Sports Channel. It will be available on their website, https://www.midcosn.com/ on Thursday for those that don't get the Channel on their cable or satellite.
Thursday the Lady Blackhawks
travel to Wessington Springs. The JH girls tip off at 5:15 followed by
JV/V. The bus will leave SC at 4:10.
On Saturday, January 28th,
the JH Girls participate in the CBH Tourney at Corsica. We play
Corsica/Stickney at 9:00.
On Saturday, January 28th,
the Varsity Boys participate in the Hefty Seed Classic at Dakota State.
We are scheduled to play Coleman/Egan at 1:30.

CARING
Paisley King, 6 month old
daughter of Brooke (Zoss) and Steve King was diagnosed on Friday with hepatoblastoma (liver cancer). Miss Paisley is currently at the Castle in Sioux Falls and ready to begin treatment. Brooke and Steve, as well as some her grandparents, are graduates from our district. Above is the link to her caring bridge page.
I will be doing a Scentsy Fundraiser for Paisley, Daughter of Brooke and Steve
King. I will be giving back all the commission that is earned from this party

Paisley
King, infant daughter of Steven and Brooke (Zoss) King of Letcher, was recently
diagnosed with liver cancer. All proceeds will go to the family.
A website has been
started for the Playing for Paisley Bean Bag Tournament being held on Saturday, March 4. You can find it at www.letchersd.com/paisley and
it will be updated on a regular basis with donations and silent
auction contributions, as well as other
important information. Paisley King is the 6 month old daughter of Steven and
Brooke (Zoss) King of Letcher and is currently undergoing treatment for liver
cancer.
COMMUNITY
RESCHEDULED BOOK SALE
THE FRIENDS OF THE WOONSOCKET COMMUNITY LIBRARY are having a used book
sale at the Woonsocket School Commons on Tuesday, January 31st will run
from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm in conjunction with Hanson vs Sanborn Central
Woonsocket basketball games. There are lots of Children through Adult
hard cover and paperback books, some magazines, videos, audio and 1952,
53, 54, 55, 56 Woonsocket School Annuals.
The purchase price is a monetary donation to the Friends of the
