received a superior rating award for her role of Sue in “The last Leaf”. The cast did a wonderful performance but did

Saturday, January 28th, the JH Girls participate in the CBH Tourney
at Corsica. We play Corsica/Stickney at 9:00.

Saturday, January 28th, the Varsity Boys participate in the Hefty
Seed Classic at Dakota State. We are
scheduled to play Coleman/Egan at 1:30.
The bus will leave Woony at
10:30 and pick up SC at 10:45PM

Monday, January 30th (Ethan Double Header) a large crowd is anticipated. We ask that the JV and Varsity girl and boy
players park your cars in front of the school on the north side before the
games begin – THANK YOU!
Pep Band
will not play for the Ethan games as previously scheduled.
Due to
availability number #15 UA QUALIFIER 1/4 ZIP in the fan cloth flyer has to be
changed to BLACK instead of RED
Another Blackhawk Gear order will
be placed on February 1st, 2017 (even though the flyer says
1/23/17). Orders due at noon on the 1st –
absolutely no late orders!!!! Order forms are available in the

The National FFA Scholarship, FFA Star Candidates and
Applications are due February 1st.
CARING
The SC School Spirit Club will be hosting Bouquets for Babies/Kandygrams for Kiddos for
Valentine's Day. All proceeds of this fundraiser will be split between the Adema family and the King family. Bouquets of assorted roses will
be sold for $25 a dozen. Kandygrams will be sold for $2. Both can
be distributed to students on Valentine's Day or arrangements can be made for
pick up/delivery if needed. Please contact/email Tracy Moody to place
orders. 20 dozen roses have been ordered and will be sold on a first
come/first served basis. Orders can also be filled out at the games on Jan.

Team Paisley Shirts are for sale!!!! Orders need to be placed prior to noon on
February 7th! Forms can be
delivered to Ashley Uecker at Sanborn Central.

of Brooke and Steve King. I will be giving back all the commission that is

for Paisley Bean
Bag Tournament being held on Saturday,
March 4. You can find it at www.letchersd.com/paisley and
it will be updated on a regular basis with donations and Silent Auction Contributions as
well as other important information. Paisley King is the 6 month old daughter of
Steven and Brooke (Zoss) King of Letcher and is currently undergoing treatment
for liver cancer. Funds raised will be matched up to $1250 by the Woonsocket area chapter of Modern Woodmen of America!

RESCHEDULED BOOK SALE
THE
FRIENDS OF THE WOONSOCKET COMMUNITY LIBRARY are having a used book
sale at
the Woonsocket School Commons on Tuesday, January 31st will run
from
11:30 am to 8:00 pm in conjunction with Hanson vs. Sanborn Central
Woonsocket
basketball games. There are lots of Children through Adult
hard
cover and paperback books, some magazines, videos, audio and 1952,
53, 54,
55, 56 Woonsocket School Annuals.
The
purchase price is a monetary donation to the Friends of the
Library.
