The race
for "Governor of Sanborn Central" is heating up in the school.
The three candidates, Jonny Forschler, Myah Selland, & Logun Feistner
are campaigning around the school. Students have completed the first
"Sanborn Republic" newspaper and political ads. The Videos can

ATHLETICS
The
Blackhawk High School FB players will have a team meeting on Tuesday, November
1st at 4:00 pm at Woonsocket. It will last about 30-45
minutes. We really would like to have all HS players at this
meeting. Also, we have not scheduled it yet, but we will be having a
Blackhawk Football Awards night sometime in next few weeks at Wessington
Springs. Thanks to all parents for your support of Blackhawk Football. Coach

FFA
Crystalyx Cards sale is coming to
close. FFA Members need to finish up their sales. Return the stubs
of sold cards and the money to Mr. Gross. If you have unsold cards, they MUST
be returned to Mr. Gross to be sent back to the company. November 4th is the
deadline.
The famous FFA Fruit/Butter Braid/Popcorn Sales are
back!!!! Contact an FFA member to place your order. If it is
getting close to the deadline (November 2nd) and you haven’t been
contacted, please e-mail Mr. Gross at shane.gross@k12.sd.us

The Sanborn Central All-State Chorus quartet will be performing in
section BB at the Premier Center on Saturday, October 29th. Anyone
interested in attending the concert may download the ticket order form from
their website and send it in to the Premier Center Box Office, or they may call
them directly to order tickets. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday,
October 18th at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices will be: $19 - Reserved

SDSU is hosting their annual SDSU School Day on
Saturday, November 5th as the Jackrabbits host the Missouri State
Bears. Kick off is at 2:00pm. The school that brings the largest
group of fans will win an appearance from SDSU cheerleaders, dance team, and
