Blue Day

Friday, October 7^th is extra help day.  All students with missing assignments or failing grades will need to be at school from 8:00-11:00 that day.  We will need lists of missing assignments by noon on Wednesday, October 5^th for student notification.  Thursday, October 6^th we will need an update by noon as parent notification begins at 1:00.  Teachers – please be sure to mark missing assignments with an “M” so they show up!

Good Luck to the Oral Interp Contestants! 

Good Luck to the Cross Country Team (Tater M, Austin S, Myah S) as they travel o Howard today.  The bus leaves Woony at 1:15 and SC at 1:25.

5/6^th Basketball will practice at SC today.              

7-12 VB is at Woonsocket today.

Juniors are fundraising for prom! We are starting sales of magazines and several other purchase options. ACADEMICS

Mrs. Christopher has volunteered to do tutoring on Tuesday, October 4^th, until 5:15 as Mrs. Miller will be gone!  Just another chance for students to make a dent in their missing assignment lists or get some extra help!

Mrs. Johnson is gone Tuesday – no counseling!!!

The following students will be gone on Tuesday, October 4^th, for a yearbook workshop:  Kayla O, Maddie V, Sarah M, and Koby L

Seniors and Parents - Come learn about Federal Student Aid and Student Loans for college. Oct. 10th at 6:00pm at the Woonsocket School.

Wanted!!!!!  Basketball Cheerleaders – signup sheet is in the hallway by the bathrooms.  Deadline is October 10^th

Friday Nights Football Game with Kimball/White Lake will be aired on Q107 http://www.q107radio.com/

MUSIC

These students will be gone on Wednesday, October 5^th for all State Chorus:  Breanne B, Madi M, Renee F, Adriana S, Byron J, Cole M, Koby L, and Weston B.  You will leave SC at 6:00am.  Don’t forget to bring money for lunch.

Attending marching band practice Thursday morning are: Catherine B, Breanne B, Garrett D, Samantha D, Chloe D, Renee F, Trent K, Koby L, Madi M, Sarah M, Kayla O, Trevor O, Adriana S, Austin S, Katie S, Myah S, Abby V, Maddie V, Alexis K.

Friday the SCW Marching Band will participate in the Lake Area Festival of Bands – 30+ Bands!  The bus will leave SC at 7:15 and should be back around 3:00.  Members need to bring me $6 for their meal on Friday. Students need to wear black socks, black shirt, and athletic shorts with their uniform. Community

If anyone is looking for Community Service hours – you can help unload the Food Truck in Woonsocket on October 5^th.  See Mary for more info!
