SANBORN CENTRAL E-NEWS
If your student would still like to participate in the Punt,
Pass & Kick Competition today at Wessington Springs but didn’t get
pre-registered, they are still welcome to compete. They just need to be at the Wessington
Springs football field tonight before 6:00 p.m. and see one of the coaches to
get signed up.
From FFA instructor, Mr. Gross:
Our SC FFA students represented us well at the Wessington
Springs Land and Range Event. The individual team members performed really
well. There was a clay pan in one of the pits that threw off many of the kids
from every school. Afterwards, they realized that mistake. I'm very proud of
how well they perform and I'm looking forward to next year. I feel that we've
formed a strong foundation that will allow us to build on. We have all learned
so much this year. We should be in a good position to be one of the top teams
next year. I'd also like to thank the students for their handwork in preparing
for the event.
