The winners at the first game were Eddie Hoffman in the 1st
Quarter and Justin Dean in the 3rd.

THURSDAY:
Today is School Pride Day. Everyone should dress
accordingly.
Sanborn Central will NOT be dismissing early today for the Fair.
The JH football players will have a team scrimmage today
in Woonsocket starting at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Blackhawks have volleyball games against Ethan
at Sanborn Central tonight. The JH girls will start at 5:15 p.m., the JV girls
at 6:30 p.m. and the Varsity girls around 8:00 p.m.
Rebel Booster Club concession stand workers for tonight
are Kev and Lynette Kingsbury, Greg and Darcy Feiner, and Tracey Steele.
Football practice – Sanborn Central 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
All FFA members (excluding officers) need to bring a pan
of bars (pre-cut) or cookies by this afternoon for the tailgate supper on
Friday.

FRIDAY:
Fair Friday – No school.
No volleyball practice on Friday.
Sanborn Central’s FFA will be hosting a Tailgate supper
on Friday night starting at 6:00 p.m. (Any FFA member that is available to come
to the game Friday should be here no later than 5:45 to assist.)
Q107 Radio will be broadcasting Friday night’s game.
Due to so many students attending/showing at the SD State
Fair on Friday, the Pep Band will not play for Friday night’s game.
It’s Parents Night for all football players on Friday
night. Team members and their parents will be introduced before the start of
the game at approximately 6:45 p.m.
The WWSSC Blackhawks play football against Kimball/White
Lake on Friday night at Sanborn Central starting at 7:00 p.m.
Booster Club concession stand workers for Friday night
are Barry and Shelly Selland, Nick and Wynette Vorhees, and Perry and Tracy
Moody.
Sanborn Central football parents will be hosting a supper
for the WWSSC football players following the game.

MONDAY:
No school on Monday in observance of Labor Day.
Volleyball practice – Sanborn Central 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Football practice (no JH) – Woonsocket 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Cheerleading practice – Sanborn Central 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

TUESDAY:
The JH/JV (no 6th) football teams have games on Tuesday
against Kimball/White Lake at Woonsocket starting at 4:30 p.m.
The 5/6th girls and boys have basketball practice at
Woonsocket at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Lady Blackhawks have volleyball games at White Lake
on Tuesday. The C game starts at 5:15 p.m., the JV game at 6:30, and the
Varsity game when they’re finished. The player bus will leave from Sanborn
Central at 3:45 p.m.

WEDNESDAY:
The Josten’s rep will be back at school on Wednesday to
meet with Seniors and Sophomores.
Volleyball practice – Sanborn Central 3:30 – 5:45 p.m.
Football practice (no JH) – Woonsocket 4:00 – 6:15 p.m.
Cheerleading practice – Sanborn Central 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

REMINDERS:
Tim McCain is still looking for one more volunteer to be
on the chain gang for the football game at Sanborn Central on Friday night,

Give away: A pair of size 3 Under Armour cleats, barely
used, to give away. These would be good for soccer or football. Contact Mary

A message from Jostens to the parents of Sophomores regarding
ordering class rings: Jostens had a special class meeting on Tuesday, August
28. Please ask your sophomore about it. Jostens will be at school on Wednesday,
September 5 to show sophomores the latest ring styles and help them order their
personalized Sanborn Central High School class ring. Be sure to bring your
completed order form from our Ring Designer (found at www.jostens.com) or
packet and your $60 deposit. If you need a Ring Design Kit, they are available
in the school office. If you have any questions, please call our office at 605-336-3990
