SANBORN CENTRAL E-NEWS

Thank you to the Town ‘n Kountry 4-H group for the donation of a football and soccer ball for the elementary students to use at recess. The balls are green and white with the 4-H emblem on them.

Today students are wearing green in support of National 4-H Week. The theme this year is “Revolution of Responsibility”. What is the 4-H Revolution of Responsibility? It’s a movement for positive change in every community in America. 4-H youth are a living breathing, culture-changing revolution for doing the right thing, breaking through obstacles and pushing our country forward by making a measurable difference right where they live. That takes uncommon commitment.  We are very proud of our local 4-H groups and what they give to our communities.

Town ‘n Kountry reps will be visiting Pre-K through 5th grade at 12:15 in Robin Moody's room today to encourage 4-H activities and opportunities. A treat will also be provided at this time.  A big “Go Green for 4-H” bowl full of green tootsies will be sitting in Mary's office throughout the day for MS and HS students.   Also, a bowl of green mints will be in the teacher's workroom for the staff to enjoy.

As a fundraiser for “Dig Pink Night,” staff is encouraged to wear jeans for $1 a day or sweats for $5 a day all of next week.

The people organizing the Dig Pink Night have released a list of activities that will be going on next week. You can view it here: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0BxqWDgwTHOqeNHlHd2UwT016Mkk
