Notes from Mrs. Amundson
ACT testing will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd, following Easter break. We will start the test at the beginning of the school day and it will conclude at lunchtime.

The cost for the exam is $55.50 - cash or check are the acceptable payment methods. If writing a check, please make the payment out to Sanborn Central School. Please send your payment to school with your child to give to me by Thursday, April 17th at 12:30 PM. If I do not have the payment before the exam on the morning of Tuesday, April 22nd, unfortunately your child will not be able to test.

I often encourage our students to aim for a 24 or higher on the ACT (composite), as this helps them meet the eligibility requirements for the SD Opportunity Scholarship, as well as for other scholarship opportunities.

The students have been doing ACT prep in their classes with Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Olson-VanWinkle, and Ms. Farrell-Poncelet to prepare for this exam.

Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns!
