Wednesday, September 25th-Blue Day

 Sanborn Central Community,

We have decided to move our Sept. 30th JH/JV game and our Oct. 4th varsity game to Wessington Springs. Field conditions on the south end are not satisfactory to hold a game at this point, and our target date of the October 11th varsity game is still our goal. This is not the news we wished to share with our community. Our school events at Sanborn Central are very important to the community and students. We aim to continue to make progress on our field and holding football games at Sanborn Central is a priority.

The components at lunch are: meats/meat alternates; grains; fruit; vegetables; and fluid milk. Under OVS, a student must take at least three components in the required serving sizes. One selection must be at least ½ cup from either the fruit or vegetable component. At Sanborn Central, we follow OVS throughout the entire school.
