It's American Education Week! Today we celebrate our support staff. They play an important role in schools. So many tasks are handled on a daily basis by these fantastic people that are the glue to our school system. They are your bussing, communication, your child's one on one cheerleader, nutritious meal and the reason they have a clean and tidy environment to learn in. Thank you paraprofessional, administrative assistants, cooks, bus drivers, janitors and librarians.

Wednesday-Teacher Day-Students may also sport their best teaching attire and dress like teachers!
Thursday-Community Day
Friday-Students Day-Students may wear their hats/shades and bring a drink (at the teachers discretion) labeled with their name to drink during the movie.

Congratulations to Bryce Larson who placed 2nd in Prepared Public speaking during yesterday's LDE's and will be going to State.

The following students are at the JH Music Fest today.
Olivia, Sophie, McKenzie, Brooklyn, Lucy, Madilyn, Carley, Landree, Ledoux, Hector, Westen, Ramsey, and Kaidence.
The bus will leave Sanborn Central at 6:25 am. The bus will leave Woonsocket at 6:40 am.  Return time is approximately 5:00 pm.  
Students please bring music folders, pencils, water bottles, and extra money in case we stop.  If you are planning on riding home with a parent, they will need to tell Mrs. Easton.

Devoted Students

Mrs. Rodriguez and I are excited to announce we are starting another year of Devoted Students. This year we are extending the invite to all 7th -12th grade students. We have two dates planned before Christmas break, Monday, November 27th @ 6:30 (to accommodate the first week of basketball practice) and Monday, December 11th @ 6:00. We will meet in Mrs. Rodriguez’s room with supper and a study provided. Here is the 3/4th grade boys basketball schedule.
3/4th boys basketball
Practices will be for 1 1/2. Most of the time a coach will be there before and after practices so if kids want to shoot around or want more 1 on 1 time you can do so. The practices will be with a large group and several parents helping our with different stations to learn the fundamentals of basketball.
