Wednesday, December 7th 2022-Orange Day

What was given on the 5th day of Christmas?  Congratulations to Kaidence Fridley with the correct answer of 5 golden rings.  Today's 12 days of Christmas trivia is "What is another name for Santa?"

Mrs. Uecker received the most votes last night in the door decorating contest!  She has earned donuts for her class.

Congratulation to Mrs. Easton, Mrs. Selland, the student body, and Ol' St. Nick on another successful Christmas concert.  Our spirits are merry and bright with your joyful Christmas selections.

Extra help day is Friday, December 9th.  Parents of students with missing assignments or failing grades will be notified the afternoon of Thursday, that the student will need to be in attendance from 8:00-11:00am on Friday.

Students will be given a list of missing assignments the afternoon of Wednesday

The list will be updated on Thursday afternoon prior to calls being made.


Brooklyn Johnson is putting on a Science Fair today from 12:30 to 2:30 in the gym at Sanborn Central that 6th-11th grade students will be participating in. This will be open to the public. The students have been working hard on their projects and hope you will come to see their work!

Saturday, December 10th the basketball season will kick off in Woonsocket vs. SBA.  The JV girls will tip-off at 12:30 followed by JV boys at 1:30.

The Artesian Community Improvement Association will be holding their annual Membership Drive/Ham Drawing on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Artesian Community Center. Supper will be served at 6:30pm, followed by a ham drawing and a visit from Santa!Membership dues are $20 per family and go towards summer youth programs and community events.

Ages 8-13 years old to participate in the Huron Elks Hoopshoot, a free throw shooting contest, at the Nordby Center on January 7, 2023. The winners of this competition will move on to the State contest, February 4, 2023, in Pierre, SD.  The best part is that it’s; FREE!It will be open to all participants ages 8-13. Age bracket is based on   contestant age as of April 1, 2023.Attached are instructions to hold your own contest and then send your winners to Huron January 7th.  Boys Registration will begin at 9:30 A.M. Contest to begin at 10:00 A.M.Girls Registration will begin at 10:30 A.M.
