You guessed it!  The happiest snowman is indeed Frosty.  Yesterday's winner answering the trivia question correctly was Whitney Adams.  Today's question is; What was given on the 5th day of Christmas?
Each day the kids will be entered into a drawing for a free concession stand drink, but they need a correct answer and the luck of the draw to claim a prize.

Parents the lost and found is overflowing.  Please take time to visit the tables at the concert.

Band students please be in the band room by 6PM to tune for the concert.

Due to Woonsocket's parade of lights, the JH BB game on Friday, Dec. 16 vs Springs at Woonsocket has been canceled and will be looking for a make up date.

Community

The next food giveaway will be Wednesday, December 7th at 4:30 until gone at the Sanborn County Courthouse. There will not be a January food pantry give away.
Food Pantry December 2022

The Artesian Community Improvement Association will be holding their annual Membership Drive/Ham Drawing on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Artesian Community Center. Supper will be served at 6:30pm, followed by a ham drawing and a visit from Santa!
Membership dues are $20 per family and go towards summer youth programs and community events.

Ages 8-13 years old to participate in the Huron Elks Hoopshoot, a free throw shooting contest, at the Nordby Center on January 7, 2023. The winners of this competition will move on to the State contest, February 4, 2023, in Pierre, SD.  
The best part is that it’s; FREE!
It will be open to all participants ages 8-13. Age bracket is based on   contestant age as of April 1, 2023.
Attached are instructions to hold your own contest and then send your winners to Huron January 7th.  
Boys Registration will begin at 9:30 A.M. Contest to begin at 10:00 A.M.
Girls Registration will begin at 10:30 A.M. Contest to begin at 11:00 A.M.
