Dear FFA Parents,

If your student sold butter Braids or Fruit this year, It will all be here Tomorrow.  We will need your help make arrangements to have it picked up after 3.  We can't leave them in the shop over night or after basketball practice, If you are not able to pick it up, please let me know.

Extra Curricular

The FFA State qualifiers will leave on Sunday, Dec 4 @ 2:00 from Sanborn and 2:15 from Woonsocket.   They should be back on Monday, Dec 5 around 3ish.

T-hugs, a group of Woonsocket quilters, is in need of any

cancer related shirts you may no longer wear.  They use the graphics and turn them into cuddly quilts to brighten area cancer patients' days.

If you are willing to donate to this cause, the SC office will act as a drop off until December 2, 2022.

Join in on the fun December 2nd starting at 6:00 in the city of Letcher.  Brady Larson is hosting a Parade of Lights and Freewill Baked Potato/Nacho Meal following in the community center.  To pre-register your parade entry please call Brady Larson at 605-770-5081
Everyone is Welcome

The WWTS Christmas Program “The Reason for the Season” will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7th at 6:30 pm at the Artesian First Lutheran Church.  The evening will include a play, Christmas songs,  Christmas poems and the celebration of Jesus’ birthday.  Lunch will be served by the church ladies, and all are welcome.

Brooklyn Johnson is putting on a Science Fair on December 7th from 12:30 to 2:30 in the gym at Sanborn Central that 6th-11th grade students will be participating in. This will be open to the public. The students have been working hard on their projects and hope you will come to see their work!

Join in on the fun at the Letcher Community Center Saturday, December 10th, 2022 for Turkey Bingo/Santa Night.  Dinner will be served and Santa will arrive at 6:30PM.  Bingo will start at 7:00 PM.  Dinner is a freewill offering.  Bingo is $5 a card for 20 games with winners getting a turkey and in the event of a tie a package of bacon.  The Legionaires will have raffle tickets that will be sold in advance or at the door for cash prizes.

Michael Hoffman will be putting on a toy drive now through December 15th. He will have boxes set up at Sanborn Central School, the CorTrust Bank in Letcher, the Community Center in Letcher, and along with the Parade of Lights in Letcher. The toys will be donated to the children and families of Sanborn County. Any remaining toys will be donated to the Salvation Army.
