Cross Country in Arlington on Monday Sept. 12^th  Bus leaves at 1:00 from Woonsocket, pick up in Sanborn at 1:15

Race Order:  Varsity Girls starting at 4:00 followed by Varsity Boys, and JV Girls and JV Boys

Cross Country in Chamberlain on Thursday, Sept. 15^th   Bus leaves at 12:00 from Woonsocket

Race Order:  JV Girls  2:30   JV Boys 3:00

Today, Varsity has practice in Sanborn. The JH game will start at 4:30 vs. Miller-Highmore at Wessington Springs.  JV FB vs MCM at SC starting at 4:30.   Varsity will practice will start prior to JV game.

Save the date-Parent teacher conferences are coming fast!  Thursday, September 15th school will dismiss at 12:30 and conferences will start at 1:00.  School will not be in session on Friday, September 16th.

Tuesday, September 13th during the Volleyball game vs. Wessington Springs the Woonsocket Post Prom Committee is cooking supper.  For $4 you can get a slice of Papa Murphy's pizza to benefit the post prom.

Notes from Ms. Amundson
FAFSA Night for 2022 has been confirmed for Monday, October 3^rd at 5:30 pm. This year it will be held at Sanborn Central school in the Middle School Lab.

Thank you so much for your cooperation with this event! Please let Ms. Fischer or I know if you have any questions and/or concerns.

The juniors will be taking the ASVAB assessment on Wednesday, October 5^th at 8:15 AM in the middle school lab.

The seniors will be taking the NCRC assessment on Wednesday, October 12^th at 8:15 AM in the middle school lab.

I will be coming into the classrooms to discuss these assessments with the juniors and seniors to inform them about what to bring and what to expect.

Additionally, Libby Flemming from the National Guards will be at our school on Monday, October 10^th at 8:15 AM and would like to briefly speak with all juniors and seniors to discuss the National Guards and opportunities for students. This will be held in the middle school lab.

Lastly, I am starting to get in contact with college admission counselors to schedule visits for them to come to our school and talk to prospective junior and senior students. When they come to visit our school, any juniors or seniors who are interested in that particular college are welcome to come to the middle school lab to learn more about that college and ask any questions they may have.
