NO tutoring after school
Due to the weather on Wednesday, the roses were not delivered.  They should arrive today, and be ready to pick up on Friday morning.  Remember, the school will be open from 8AM-12PM on Friday.
The junior high games with Mt. Vernon/Plankinton have been postponed for today and have been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb 18th.
There will be no junior high practice today for girls or boys.

Extra Help Day is tomorrow.  Parents of students with missing assignments or failing grades will be notified this afternoon that the student will need to be in attendance from 8-11 on Friday.

Due to the 9:00am start Saturday morning, the following Highmore/Harold game has been updated for February February 14th.  The bus will leave SC at 1:45.  The games will be live-streamed at http://piratestv.live/

 SC powerlifters are heading to Mitchell on Saturday the 15th.  Lifters should be at True Fitness in Mitchell by 8:45am.  Lifting starts at 10am. Speak to Coach Flatten if a ride is needed.  There is a $25 entry fee for lifters.  Athletes attending: Harley Kneen, Lily Overson, Cassidy Slykhuis, & Brighten Hitchcock.  There may be a few folding chairs set up but space is very limited for spectators in the small gym.  This is more geared for the athletes than the spectators.  

The DWU Classic will take place Saturday February 15th at the Corn Palace.  SC boys will play Platte/Geddes at 9AM.  For a complete list of pairings please visit https://5il.co/cuse

The Wessington Springs FCCLA chapter is sponsoring a 3 on 3 tournament at the WS gym Saturday, March 7th for 3rd graders to adults. The Sanborn Central Booster Club is looking for a concession stand supervisor starting August 2020. If you are interested in the details of the position, please reach out to Tambi Wormstadt or Ashly Uecker.   This position is a paid position.

Saturday, February 22nd Pre-K through 5th grade is invited to a Dr. Seuss Carnival from 10AM-12. The event is located at the L.B. Williams Elementary School Commons Area.

Letcher American Legion Auxiliary is hosting a blood drive March 5 from 4:15 - 6:15 PM. If you cannot give at the school please call Sandi Ruml 248-2568 to donate in Letcher. We will be calling you.
