As we are transitioning the front desk responsibilities from Mary to Laura, please send any bus notes, blog or announcement information, as well as attendance messages to laura.licht@k12.sd.us  

Back to school forms are due back tomorrow!  If you have not filled forms out for you child they can not have computer rights, or be able to take a la carte items at lunch.  

Calendars are in the office for your student to bring home.  Don't forget grandparents, and friends that might be interested.

From the kitchen

Juice is no longer a substitute for milk at lunch.  Juice is still available but at a la carte price.

Starting today the lunch room will be starting a “Grab & Go Breakfast.” What this means for all participating 7-12th graders, you can have a quick breakfast on the go from 7:30-8:05. All Grab and Go Breakfast items are at Ala Carte pricing. They do not qualify as a reimbursable meal so...if you cannot have seconds you will need to pay cash for these items!

Here is the Blackhawk Football schedule for the week of Aug 19-23

We were planning to practice in Woonsocket but it is too wet.   We will play it day by day and when it is dry enough we will go to Woonsocket.

·       Tuesday, August 20 – JH and HS – Practice at WS or Woon.   4:00 – 6:00

·       Wednesday, August 21 – JH and HS – Practice at WS or Woon – 4:00 – 6:00

·       Thursday, August 22 – JH and HS – Practice at WS or Woon – 4:00 – 5:30

·       Friday, August 23 – HS game at Chamberlain – 7:00 pm – bus will leave Sanborn Central at 3:30 pm.

Sports pictures will take place next Wednesday, August 21st in Woonsocket with the following schedule
2:00PM- Cross Country
2:15PM- Woonsocket VB individuals
2:15PM- SC VB will depart
2:45PM- JH VB individuals
3:00PM- SC JH VB depart
Football will start around 3:45PM with individuals for Woonsocket

4:30PM Cheerleaders

Everybody will be full pads Tuesday and Wednesday.

JH will be full pads on Thursday and HS will be helmets and shoulder pads on Wednesday.

 We are scheduled to have pictures on Wednesday if we practice at Woonsocket.  If we practice in Springs on Wednesday the pictures will be rescheduled.
