Teachers and staff, we are winding down with teacher appreciating week and another school year.  A week is never enough time to thank you for all of the times you have gone above and beyond to make a student feel amazing, or help in understanding a lesson.  Sometimes lessons don’t have to be in Math, or English to truly make an impact on a student!  Keep being the amazing teachers that you are and influencing the next generation to be good humans!!!  Sanborn Central is beyond lucky to have you on our “team.”

Students you will be receiving your check out sheets today for your teachers to sign off on.  HS Mr. Olsen and Mrs. Enfield will need to sign everyone’s sheet.  Middle school Mrs. Farmer and Mrs. Enfield will need to sign all sheets.  Gayle will be your last stop and will not be accepting sheets until Monday (excluding Seniors.)  You will not receive a report card until the sheet is completed and back to the office!

Yesterday's baseball game with WWMH has been moved to Friday.  

HS Students:  Semester testing starts tomorrow with blue day classes.  And Monday May 13th with orange day classes……If you are failing any class you must be at school the entire day(s) during semester testing.  You must be present for any class that a semester test is given in.  Teachers may also ask you to attend a class period even if they are not administering a semester test.  Be sure to check with all your teachers and not assume that you don’t need to be here
   
Graduation practice/arrival times for the 8th grade and Seniors are as follows…
Friday you will start practice at 8:20 starting with Sr’s and Jr. attendants followed by 8th grade and 7th grade attendants.
Saturday Seniors and eighth grade you need to be here at 2 PM Saturday for pictures.

The Lady Blackhawks will be hosting a little Blackhawk camp for girls in grades 1st-6th. The camp will be two hours long with proceeds going to the volleyball fund and will take place in the Woonsocket gym. Community
Letcher Women's fellowship will take place at the Letcher Community Church Thursday, May 9th and is a guest day starting with a short program at 1:30.  It will be followed by a free salad lunch, and all are welcome to attend.

 District I and II will hold their overnight Farmers Union Camp at Swan 
Lake near Viborg on May 29, 30 and 31st.  Attached is a link to the
