There is no Volleyball practice
tonight for grades 7-12. Tomorrow the varsity plays Highmore/Harrold at
approx. 3pm in the CBH Tourney in Plankinton. The mini-bus will leave

The school pictures have
arrived! You may notice that your class
picture is missing – not all were taken on picture day due to absences. The rest will be taken on September 28th
– retake day. If you need retakes, make
sure Mrs. Danek gets your packet of bad pictures. If you were gone on picture day get an order

ATHLETICS

Kolousek……..Saturday, September 9th is the youth football
jamboree. Any JH and HS players that are available, we could use your
help in doing chains for these games. Any players interested in doing
chains for the youth jamboree, please let me know. Any coaches or adults
that would be interested in helping officiate or do chains at the youth jamboree
on September 9th please let me know. You do not have to commit
to whole day. Just let me know what time you would be able to volunteer

JH
Football
We have made
some additions and changes to JH football schedule. Updated schedule is
attached.
JH will be
going to Salem on September 12 for 4:30 pm game
JH will
host Winner in Wessington Springs on September 18 for 4:30 pm game
We also
changed location of October 5 game from Wessington Springs to Sanborn Central
when we play MVP.

On
September 12, the bus will leave WS at 2:15 pm, pick up Woonsocket at 2:30 pm
and pick up Sanborn Central players at 2:45 pm. Drop off at each school
on way home.
The Sept 19th volleyball
game with Wolsey/Wessington is being moved to Woonsocket and the Oct. 5
volleyball game will be played at Sanborn Central. NOTE CONCESSION

Saturday
there will be a marching band rehearsal at Woonsocket at 9:00 a.m. If you have
conflicts due to the short notice it’s understood. However, if you can be there please come!
BOOSTER
CLUB
We will have a playground work event on this Sunday,
September 10, starting at 3:00. We would really like to get the equipment
finished so the kids can enjoy it!! Hope to see you there!
COMMUNITY
Snack Pack Program - Letcher Community Church is one of the
churches in the county doing this program. Since people often ask what we need
we thought we would put out a notice here and in the church news letter. Our
main needs are: cans of Spaghetti O's, lasagna and soups. Boxes of
instant oatmeal, fruit cups or applesauce, pudding snacks, Little Debbie cakes
or other individually wrapped snacks like PB crackers, cheese crackers, Popcorn
and drink boxes like HI C fruit drinks, Peanut butter small jars and Ritz type
crackers. Your donations help us pack meals for an estimated 20 children that
need meals for weekends when patents aren't around. Donations can go to the
Letcher Church or contact Tambi Wormstadt.
