Orange Day - TUTORING

STUDENTS – Reminder – NOTHING SHOULD BE ON THE FLOOR IN THE HALLWAYS!  STATE FIRE MARSHALL SAYS WE NEED A CLEAR WALK WAY IN THE EVENT THAT AN EVACUATION IS NEEDED!

Hats off to the SCW Band, Winterguard, and Mr. Kroeger for a wonderful concert last night!

8^TH Ag will have study hall in Mr. Gross’s room with Mrs. Vermeulen today.

HS Track practices at home today.

JO VB 14 & 16s will practice at Woonsocket at 5:30 today.  12s will practice at SC at 5:15 today.

Open golf will start today and Thursday. Golf practice starts on Monday in Woonsocket.

If you planned on entering the First National Bank Coloring contest – be sure to turn your entry into Mary by Friday!

ACADEMICS

Thursday, March 23^rd, we will do our first eligibility for the final quarter of school.  Please have all your work turned in prior to Thursday morning.  Teachers, please keep your grade books up to date.

The HS computer lab and Mrs. Moody's room will be closed Friday from 8:15 until 1:00 for Senior Presentations.  Please plan accordingly....

The Soil Conservation Speech contest has been moved to April 1^st!  Yesterday I showed it scheduled for this Saturday.

The Senior Class is preparing for the Oral History Interviews for Government.  At least one student is in need of someone to interview.  If there is a current member of the military or a veteran that is willing to be interviewed by a senior, please contact Mr. Flatten.  You can call the school 495-4183 or email him at corey.flatten@k12.sd.us

                    Thursday in Woonsocket 14s and 16s at 5:30, 12s at Sanborn at 5:15

                    Friday in Woonsocket 12s at 5:00

MUSIC

On Wednesday, March 22^nd there will be no lessons or band before 12:30.  If the light is off, it means Mr. Kroeger isn’t there!

Band Members - Wednesday the bus will leave from Sanborn Central at 8:10am.  We Warm-Up in Mitchell at 8:50am and perform at 9:20.  Be sure to bring lunch money.  We will be back by 12:30pm.  Be sure to wear your concert black attire.

Soccer Signup and Information Meeting Thursday, March 23rd at the Sanborn Central gym ???? (in the evening to be determined yet). The meeting will consist of verifying signups, coaching, t-shirt order form, and schedules.  We would like to include an equipment swap - please bring any old soccer cleats, shin guard, balls, etc.  If there are any questions please contact Jeremy Uecker 605-999-1875 or Roxanne Larson 605-770-2077.
