REBEL GIVING
Sanborn
Central Coat Drive
Nearly 15% of Americans
are currently living in poverty. For these families and individuals, a
warm coat is a budget extra they simply cannot afford. Sanborn Central
Education Association (SCEA) invites area residents to make a
difference in our neighbor’s lives by donating gently used coats of all
sizes and winter accessories! SCEA is working to collect clean,
gently used warm coats and winter accessories (snow pants,
boots, gloves, and hats) from now until November 4th. The process is simple: you drop off your extra coat(s) in
the box at Sanborn Central and SCEA takes care of the rest. All
donated coats will be cleaned and made available for distribution to Sanborn
Central students in need.

"The American ideal is not that we all agree with each other, or
even like each other, every minute of the day. It is rather that we will
respect each other's rights, especially the right to be different, and that, at
the end of the day, we will understand that we are one people, one country, and
one community, and that our well-being is inextricably bound up with the
well-being of each and every one of our fellow citizens." -- C. Everett Koop
