The Sanborn Central Students
are not attending the Honors Band today due to road conditions. However, we are still proud of you!
The Sanborn Central Drama Department is working on the one-act play for competition in Huron on January 27th. If anyone has a futon that they could give up for three weeks the cast can use it.

ACADEMICS
The last day for high school students to change classes will be Friday, January 15.
There will be no Elementary Tutoring on January 14th as Mrs. Miller will be attending a meeting.

ATHLETICS
The Blackhawk boys team defeated Bridgewater-Emery by a score of 55-51 Tuesday night. Helping in the win were: Dillon-11 pts,6 reb,3 ast,5 st,1 blk Trevor-5 pts,2 eb Tucker- 3 pts,3 reb,2 ast,4 st,1 blk Trent-4 reb Josh-7 pts,3 reb,2 ast Garrett Larson-1 reb Brady-20 pts,11 reb,2 blk Rex-3 pts1 blk Wyatt- 6 pts, 3 reb, 1 blk Coach Olsons comments: The boys overcame some adversity to pick up a big win over a talented Huskie team. We came out with a great start and then relaxed with the ball. We stopped attacking by throwing lazy passes and forcing some shots. We started the second half strong and then hung on for the win. Our boys are going to get every opponents best shot and should be proud of this win.
Lady Blackhawks defeated Bridgewater/Emery 59-31 Tuesday night. Leaders were: Myah Selland 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and steals, Kayla Olson 10 points, 6 assists, and 5 steals, Tayla Weber 8 points, Bailey Moody 8 points. JV girls also beat Bridgewater/Emery with a score of 38-29. Leaders were Sarah Morgan 16 points and 7 rebounds, Tristan Ziebart 9 points, Alissa Ball 2 points, 6 assists and 3 steals, and Tesa Jensen 5 points and 4 rebounds. There has been a change of schedule for the double header next Tuesday at Kimball. At 5:00-Both JV games will be played at the same time in both of our gyms. 6:30-Girls Varsity in Main gym followed by Boys Varsity at 8:00 in the Main gym. Bus will leave SC @ 3:10.

The 34th Annual Hanson
Girls and Boys Classic Courtside Seats will go on sale, Tuesday, January 5th at 9:00 am.
Courtside seats will cost $25.00
each and they’re good for the entire event that day. All other general admission tickets can be
purchased the day of the event.
The Girls Hanson Classic will take
place on January 16th starting at 9:00 am.
The Boys Hanson Classic will take
place on January 23rd starting at 10:00 am.
