Orange Day
The Pre-School play will start today at 2:00 in the music room.
Semester testing today……All students with F’s will need
to be at school for the entire day. Students with passing grades need to
be here only for the classes that tests are given or the teacher has requested
that you attend. Don't forget to sign in and out! Any questions see

Wednesday, May 15th is Track and Field day for students
in grades PK thru 6th. Seventh
and 8th students are not required to come to school unless they are
helping Mr. McCain with Track and Field.
HS Students are not required to be here on Tuesday, May 14th
or Wednesday, May 15th.
Elementary students who are interested in a Wessington Springs Foothill Rodeo ticket, please stop in the office. The rodeo runs Saturday, May 25th (6PM) and Sunday May 26th (2 PM) and you will need a ticket for each day you attend. If you do attend with one of these tickets, please take the time to write a Thank You to the businesses that sponsored the ticket.

Sports
All athletes need to turn in a physical packet, but only 7th and 10th graders are required to complete a physical. Any athlete can choose to complete a physical, and attached is the form you will take for the physician to fill out. Forms will be handed out this week to the 7th and 10th graders.

The Lady Blackhawks will be hosting a little Blackhawk camp for girls in grades 1st-6th. The camp will be two hours long with proceeds going to the volleyball fund and will take place in the Woonsocket gym. Mrs. Moody will be handing out camp forms and you can also pick up a copy in the office. The Fishback Summer Scholars Program at South Dakota State University invites motivated high school students to campus for a week-long series of college and career preparatory activities. The summer reading program will start Tuesday, June 4th and will end Thursday, July 25th. Extra forms are in the office at SC and after the forms are filled out can be returned back to the office during school hours. They will be collected on Friday, May 17th @ 2:00 P.M. Registration will be $20 and that will include a t-shirt for the event. These forms have been handed out to PK-8th graders. All proceeds will be donated to cure kids cancer of Sioux Falls.
