School Dismisses
at 1:30 on Wednesday, November 23rd!
Congratulations to Myah Selland
for being selected to the volleyball 1st Team All-State, which will be
announced in the upcoming days. Myah is also one of the players in the
state that is in the running for Miss Volleyball. The winner will be
announced at a Banquet on December 3rd in the Harrisburg North North Middle
School at 7:00 pm. Myah will than play
in the All-Star Match on December 4th in the Harrisburg
North Middle School at 2:00 pm.
Just
in case you’ve forgotten why we are Blackhawk Proud……. Mr. Gross was
awarded the Teacher Turn the Key Award at the SDAAE Conference this past
summer. As a part of this award, Mr.
Gross will represent South Dakota at the National Association of Agricultural
Educators (NAAE) national conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the
conference, he will participate in special programming and professional
development specific to this award area.
Girls Basketball will practice at Woonsocket today.
Boys Basketball and JH practice is at SC today.
Winterguard will practice at Woony today at 5:45.
3/4th boys will practice at SC tonight at
6:00.
Mary will be gone tomorrow.
Band
Food Sales must be turned in on Monday, November 28th to the
office! Mr. Kroeger will not be here on
the 28th so no band or lessons!
Any volleyball players 7-12
that have not handed in their uniform needs to do so as soon as possible and
varsity players need to also hand in the jackets.
Due
to the short week last week and the short week this week – Mr. Siemsen and Mrs.
Vermeulen have declared no eligibility this week!!!!! However, we encourage everyone to get all
missing assignments turned in!
Good
Luck to our 5-8 declaim contestants tomorrow morning. Contest begins sharply at 8:30.
