Cowboy up tomorrow to support our hometown hero, Mason Moody with your best cowboy attire! Mason is a 2022 Sanborn Central graduate and has made his way to the "BIG SHOW" on the NFR stage.
There have been confirmed cases of head lice in Sanborn County. Please check your children and household members and take appropriate precautions. Avoid sharing hats, brushes, and personal items, and treat promptly if lice are found. Thank you for helping prevent further spread.

There will be a Junior high boys basketball meeting in Woonsocket on Thursday after practice at 5:15 in the commons. This meeting will cover some important seasonal information. Please ensure at least one parent can attend. Thanks Coach Steele

Dear 8th Grade Parents and Guardians,
Mr. Bodden and I are excited to share that we will be taking the 8th graders to the 8th Grade Career Fair in Wagner, SD on Thursday, January 15, 2026. If weather becomes a concern, the backup date will be Thursday, January 22, 2026.
Permission Slips:
I will be sending home permission slips with the students this Thursday, December 4th. These must be signed and returned to me in order for your child to attend. Please return all permission slips by Thursday, December 18, 2025, before Christmas break.

Event Schedule (January 15):
- 8:30 AM: Depart from school
- 10:00–10:15 AM: Arrive in Wagner
- 10:00–11:30 AM: Career Fair at the Wagner National Guard Armory
- 11:30-12:30 Lunch: Students will eat at Subway or Taco John’s. Please send approximately $20 with your child for lunch, or they may pack their own lunch.
- 12:30 PM: Depart Wagner
- 2:00–2:30 PM: Arrive back at school
About the Career Fair:
The purpose of the 8th Grade Career Fair is to introduce students to various educational pathways and career options. The fair will feature age-appropriate, hands-on activities designed to both engage and educate students about future opportunities. The event is sponsored by Wagner Community Memorial Hospital–Avera, with some booths in the Camp Med lane provided in collaboration with the South Dakota Department of Health (SDDOH).
