The Sanborn Central National Honor society would like to say thank you to all of our repeat blood donors, new donors, and walk-ins that helped make our blood drive a success! We surpassed our goal by 9 donations!

The Blackhawk Service Day was a great huge success! Thank you to all the staff and students that beautified our school and communities today. Many improvements were made including painting playground equipment, locker and weight rooms, sweeping out busses, trimming shrubs, fixing playground fences, washing windows, and picking up trash just to name a few. May today give you pride knowing your efforts of polishing Sanborn Central were accomplished.

Monday, May 8th Sanborn Central will host Awards Night. Supper will begin at 5:30 with the award ceremony starting at 6:30

Next week's sport events

Tuesday May 9th the Varsity golf team will be at the JVC-Huron Broadland with a 10:00 start. Friday May 12the the Varsity will again compete. They will be at the Greater Fish Lake Shootout with a 10:00 start.

The V track athletes will be in Huron for the 281 Conference Meet with a 10:00 start on Monday, May 9th. The bus is leaving SC at 8AM! 281 Conference Meet Schedule

May 11th the Parkston meet takes place with a 2:00 start. The bus departs from SC at 12PM.

Friday, May 12th is a rescheduled JH meet from April in Bridgewater. Field events start at 12 and running events at 2:30. The bus will leave at 11:00 from SC.
Ledoux B, Westin W, Cole W, Carter E, Riley K, Layton Z, Kenzie U and Evie O are the JH athletes

We are now going to be attending the Hanson Track Meet on May 15 for high school.

We are not sure of the time of the track meet and will get that information to you when it is available.
