CPR training will be held today for Seniors in Woonsocket today and divided into two groups (9-12) (12-3)
April 27th 8th grade will have CPR classes from 9-12.

Yearbooks are now for sale. Order forms need to be returned to Ms. Farrell-Poncelet with payment by May 18, 2022.  Forms will be going home with kids this week Pre-K-HS.

There will be a NHS meeting on Tuesday, April 26th at 11:30 am in Mrs. Wilson's room.

Circus tickets will be going home today with PK-5th students.  Extra's (child) tickets are located in the office if more are needed for your family please send e-mail to laura.licht@k12.sd.us

Students who were in grades K-5 during the 2021-2022 school year are eligible to participate in the summer school program. This will be a great opportunity to “Jumpstart” the 2022-2023 school year and also to alleviate academic regression and educational gaps. The activities are planned for June 7-30 (Tuesday-Thursday) from 8:00-12:00. A snack will be provided. No cost to participate. Transportation will be the responsibility of the family. If you are interested in having your child participate in these valuable activities, please complete the bottom of this letter and return to school by April 21.

Extra Curricular
Thursday, April 21st the varsity golf team will travel to Miller with a 10:00 tee off.

Soccer games will take place on Thursday, April 21st at SC vs. Woonsocket.

The Greenway Relays on Friday, April 22nd now have a 10:30 start for field events and a 12:00 start for running events.  The bus will depart from Sanborn Central at 8:45

Friday, April 22nd the JH track team will travel to Bridgewater for a 1:00 start with the bus leaving at 11:00.  The Varsity track team will be in Mt. Vernon for the Greenway Relays starting at 12:30.  The bus will leave SC at 10:45 with the HS team.

Sanborn Central has an immediate opening for a custodian position with primary functions to provide maintenance, preventative services, and cleaning of the assigned district facility.  Employee is responsible for setting up own personal schedule and sequence of tasks within the time frame of the general schedule established by the Supervisor and is responsible for accomplishing his/her assigned tasks in a safe manner, reporting safety hazards, and any accidents promptly. 
Qualifications

1.) High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
2.) One (1) year of related experience in the maintenance field (a combination
of training and experience may be considered)
Job Specification
1.) This is an hourly (8/day) 12-month/year position. Some overtime may also be associated with certain parts of the position
2.) Compensation will be determined by experience and expertise (ranging from $14 - $20) with retirement match in the South Dakota Retirement system, vacation time, and available health care options.
