The new pizza delivery date has been scheduled. They are scheduled to arrive at 3pm on Monday, October 26. Please make arrangements to pick up your pizza that day!

The oral interp. participants for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket participated in three events this weekend. We are still working out the technical aspects of being all digital, but the kids did great of their first time recording.

At the Lennox Oriole Invite put on by Lennox High School our kids went against kids from 13 other school districts both in an out of South Dakota. In the dramatic monologue category, Shania Cornelius took home 11th with 83 points and Sidney Salas took home 24th with 76 points. In duets, Destiny Alameda and Rain Swenson received 8th with 72 points. In humorous monologue, Isabella Bitterman receive 13th with 79 points and Jessie Krueger received 21st with 71 points. In the nonoriginal oratory category, Ellie Evans took 15th and Brady Larson took 17th both with 74 points. In poetry, Casady Dean took home 10th with 71 points. For storytelling, Toby Kneen received 9th with 69 points and Brooklyn Johnson 10th with 73 points. This year we have two readers theatre entries. The group consisting of Braxton Gentles, Sydney Freideman, Aleya Fry, Rakell Igou-Rouse, and Saleena Larson took home 3rd with 76 points and the group consisting of Destiny Alameda, Rain Swenson, and Selena Alameda brough home 6th with 72 points.

At the Circle of Courage Invite put on by Washington High School, our kids went against kids from 20 different schools (B, A, AA) both in and out of South Dakota. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket brough home 3rd place out of the B schools. In novice drama, Morgan Hoffman brough home 25th with 366 points. In novice humor, Jessie Kruger received 27th with 352 points and Averie Johnson received 28th with 347 points. In the novice duo category, Kaden Nicholson/Attley Tarbox received 18th with 358 points. In novice storytelling, Michael Hoffman received 12th with 359 points and Kenlie Fridley received 13th with 362 points. In dramatic, Shania Cornelius received 8th with 386 points and Sidney Salas received 15th with 376 points. In poetry, Casady Dean received 369 points.

At the CBH Tournament, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket brough home 2nd with a total of 34 team points. Morgan Hoffman scored 4th in drama, Averie Johnson scored 3rd in humor, Kenlie Fridley scored 1st in storytelling and Michael Hoffman scored 2nd in storytelling. The duet of Destiny Alameda/Rain Swenson brought home 5th and Kaden Nicholson/Attley Tarbox brough home 6th. The readers theatre with Destiny Alameda/Rain Swenson/Selena Alameda brought home 1st.

An admissions counselor from USF will be available today at 12:30 in the Middle School lab.

Extra Curricular
The Blackhawks completed the regular season at 6-2 and earned the 7th seed entering the playoffs. We will be playing a 5-3 Sisseton team in Wessington Springs on Thursday night at 7PM The game will be broadcast on the radio, Q107.3 and livestreamed on Wessington Springs Liveticket.tv

Wednesday: Practice in Wessington Springs 4-5:45 PM. (Helmets & Shoulder Pads.) If the Blackhawks win, there will be another practice at 2PM the following Sunday.
