Congratulations to our musicians, Ms. Bratcher and Mrs. Easton on a fantastic concert last Thursday.

Tomorrow is the first of May and we have 7 students extremely excited to receive diplomas and leave the halls of Sanborn Central!

Good Luck to the MS track team as they participate in 281 Conference meet today.  The bus will leave at noon with Harley, Cassidy, Leighton T, Tryce, Brady, Toby, Michael, Attley, Dana, Shania, Brooklyn, Averie, Casady, and Sidney on it.  Have fun and create memories!

Baseball practices today in Springs.  After a busy, successful weekend for the Blackhawks baseball action will continue all week. The varsity team will play Tuesday night at 7 and Thursday night at 6:30. Both games will be in Wessington Springs. On Saturday both teams will be in action. The varsity will play at 2 and the JV will follow. I will let you know the location of the Saturday games as we finalize it.

HS track has joint practice at Woony today.      

The FFA Banquet is at 6:00 tonight in Woonsocket.  Enjoy the evening and make memories!  Meal Assignments: Freshmen – Main Course; Sophomores – Main Course; Juniors – Side/Dessert; Seniors – Side/Dessert     Please remember to bring serving utensils for your dish.

U6-U8-U10 soccer players need to be at the Woonsocket Football Field at 5:00 today.  U12 will need to be there at 6:30.  Yes, this is different than the schedule shows!

The Blood Drive is May 2nd and we have about 10 spots to fill yet.  If anyone would be willing to donate, please contact Tracy Moody or Sarah Morgan.   Tracy.moody@k12.sd.us

Yearbook order forms will be distributed to students – available on line and in the office.  Forms must be returned by May 4th if you want them personalized.  May 14th is the cut off otherwise.

The 2018 vocal contest for 5th-8th grade students will be held on Wednesday, May 9th in the music room.  The contest will begin at 1:45.  Notes are being sent home this week with the schedule.
