Today
is the last day to place a bid for the two parking spots close to the entrance
for the winter sports at SC. This might be the year to bid as the
high bid so far is $50. The past two years, the spots have gone
for $250 a piece! Help the Juniors fund-raise for prom

There will not be tutoring on Tuesday – December 5th due to
the Christmas Concert.

Seniors
– See Mary regarding the JCI Foundation Scholarship. This is open to
everyone and must be postmarked by January 5th!
Juniors
& Seniors – Are
you considering dual credit courses for the spring? The classes are up online
now at the SDMyLife site. Please let me know when you decide on the class or classes
you will be taking. Starting November 20th an online application process will
be available and we will start applying then. Mrs. Johnson
ATHLETICS
The 3/4th grade boys game vs. Wolsey on Friday, Dec. 8 at
Woonsocket 6:00PM instead of December 1st.
5/6th
GBB players - A practice will be held on Thursday, December 7 from 6 pm to
7:00 pm in Woonsocket. If your child is
not able to attend practice on Thursday evening but still wants to attend the
game on Friday that is fine as we understand December is a busy month.
The Girls Basketball game vs. Wess. Springs on Thursday, Jan.
25 has been moved from Woonsocket to Forestburg. Because of this, the
Girls basketball game vs. JVC on Feb. 12 is moved from Forestburg to Woonsocket
to accommodate the home game lost with Springs. SC concession
workers that this will affect are: Roger & Cheryl
Schmit, Stacy & Ivy Senska, William & Shawna Kidder, and Kimberly
Johnson

Letcher American Legion hosting a visit with Santa Saturday Dec 9 from 9:30- 11:30, cookies and hot cocoa and
Santa will hand out goodie bags. Saturday night the 9th, at 6:30 the Auxiliary will sell BBQ and pie with Turkey
Bingo to start at 7:30. Come eat, play bingo and
win a turkey. Legion members are selling chances on $100, $50, & $25.
The Artesian Area WWTS
(Walking With the Savior) youth group Christmas program is scheduled for
Wednesday, Dec. 13th at 6:30 pm at the Artesian First Lutheran
Church. Jesus’ birthday will also be celebrated. Lunch will be
served following the program. Everyone is welcome.
