Blue Day – Tutoring
The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame has asked to “borrow”
Blackhawk jersey #44 to display in the Hall’s “Ring of Honor” in recognition of
Myah Selland’s outstanding play for the 2016-2017 season. The Ring of Honor
is their way of recognizing some young basketball players for their
achievements in the sport. In doing so they are fulfilling their mission
- “Honor the past, celebrate the present, and promote the future” of women’s
basketball. Currently they have over 100 jerseys hanging in the Ring of
Honor from the 2015-2016 season including high school and college All
Americans. Can you imagine the caliber of player’s jerseys that have hung
in the rafters since it opened in 1999? Without a doubt we know and believe,
as does the WBHOF, that Myah Selland (#44) has definitely earned her spot in
this elite group, has become a part of history, and will continue to make us
BLACKHAWK PROUD!
