Jones County High School is where today’s highlighted teacher comes from – Mrs. Farmer! Mrs. Farmer received her Bachelors and Masters Degree from Dakota Wesleyan and is 2/3’s done with a three year Science Specialist degree from Black Hills State University. She looks forward to the students excitedly sharing what they have learned. It is great when students are learning new information, not because they HAVE to, but because they want to know and contribute to a topic that they have great interest in. Mrs. Farmer became a teacher because she wanted to be a part of the future – by helping students become responsible for their own learning and to help them feel confident about their own decisions. Mrs. Farmer – we are so glad that you decided to become a teacher and have spent the last 3 years as part of our Rebel family!
